Haven’t found a solution
I was diagnosed with EOE about 3 months ago after an endoscopy because I was having extreme difficulty swallowing and acid reflux. I was first started on omeprazole and that didn’t really do much. Then I started the SFED and I did that for about 2 months but saw no real results. I’ve added nuts and eggs back into my diet since I wasn’t getting enough nutrients but eating eggs is just too difficult for me. I started budesonide 4 days ago and i know it takes time to see results but that hasn’t done anything either. I also have environmental allergies including dust mites, tree pollen, dogs and cats. I have 2 dogs and the seasonal allergies are bad right now. Is it a possibility that my environmental allergies are causing my EOE and that it’s not influenced by food?
