Who had George shot?
My biggest question about the show that I hope this season answers. Could be related to the railroad, the strikes, the Alderman. He has made many enemies.
FYI: Hundreds missing after deadly flash flood on Nepal-Tibet border | BBC News
I just saw this and I thought people would like to know. A lot of people, including (maybe mostly) travelers, are missing and rescues are being raced to remote areas. Edit: on rewatch 383 travelers are unaccounted for as of this report.
There’s some initial speculation that there was an earthquake that triggered something maybe an avalanche that ended up causing this flooding. I don’t know. I’m gobsmacked with this one.

Her body was recovered by a group of local volunteers and is in the process of being repatriate. Partial remains were recovered and repatriated earlier.
Only NawangThindu Sherpa’s body remains. The location of his body is known but it has been too dangerous for the volunteers to recover.
Thank you to the volunteer rescuers throughout this tragedy.
Rest in Peace.

Remembering Broad Peak: Nadhira Al Harthy
This is the first in the series Everest.Live_YT (Ben Ayers) is producing on each of the climbers who died in the Broad Peak avalanche. He speaks with her climbing partner.
Nadhira opened up the world of climbing and being outdoors to women from Oman and other countries.
An Untold Account From The Broad Peak Rescue Team
From Everest.Live_yt: last update from Broad Peak as rescue operations are finished for the season.
Eyewitness Testimony: What Really Happened On Broad Peak
Posted on Everest.Live_yt includes a video of the avalanche taken from K2. The four teams were being coordinated individually so it wasn’t until evening they all realized that they hadn’t heard from anyone. (Apparently because of radios being off to conserve battery?) Edit to add: Broad Peak base camp has zero connectivity to even check the climbers’ GPS. Base Camp had no knowledge the GPS tracks all indicated a massive accident.
Jenjen Lama was there. Managing K2 Base Camp for Seven Summit Treks, he witnessed the Broad Peak avalanche unfold from across the glacier and played a key role in coordinating the rescue response.
Jenjen gave an eyewitness account of what happened to Ben via phone early today, explaining why there was a delay before the rescue began, examining the avalanche conditions and the decisions made by the climbing teams, and paying tribute to the extraordinary bravery of the rescuers who risked their own lives to bring the climbers home.
