just got a 15” Surface Book 3 and it’s a great machine. the previous owner reset it but there is of course now all the usual windows bloatware.

i would like to do a clean install using the autounattend.xml I usually use, but the windows 11 recovery image that Microsoft provides doesn’t seem to accept it. and using the plain win11 installer as I usually do on laptops runs into problems as it doesn’t include the drivers required for the keyboard, trackpad, or well anything.

is there a way to get the recovery image on usb to use autounattend?

or some other way to do a clean win11 install on Surface Book 3 that doesn’t enable app suggestions, news, or any of the other junk I’ll never use?
