Is this a bat bite or bug bite?
The bite is one week old. I did not feel it happen. I noticed my ankle itching and had 2 raised white bumps. It developed into this over a week. It happened on my trip to Miami while by the pool. I initially thought it was a bug bite, until one of my friends mentioned today they had saw a bat on the ground (not by the pool but outside near the hotel) on our trip and now I’m concerned. I called my local health line for an assessment and they got me a doctors appointment but it’s not for another 48 hours. I went to the ER and wasn’t taken seriously and did not get to see a dr after hours of waiting. My health line told me to go to the er only if I have symptoms but I know at that point it would be too late. Do I go back to the ER? Or do I wait for the appointment? I can also post a pic of what it looked like immediately after I noticed it.
