It worked- I can't believe it
My child had molluscum for 9+ months before I finally got answers after seeing numerous doctors and then eventually I was reccommended this cream. I had my doubts bc by the time I found out what it was I had already tried every thing.
Wanted to share what exactly we did in hopes to help someone else. God speed Reddit!
Every night:
Clean area with witch hazel, use new cotton pads in different areas especially anywhere with open sores.
Wash hands, apply cream to individual bumps, wash hands as you move to prevent spread or use qtips. Apply 1 per day or more.
Expose skin to sunlight and salt water as often as possible. Ocean, salt bath, sun bathe, etc.
After about 15 days of using the cream the bumps spread EVERYWHERE. I almost gave up, but i kept reading that it must get worse before it gets better so we hung in there and kept going.
As the sores were popping my kid complained of pain and itching. You cant let them itch or else it can spread even more. Some bumps got huge and we popped them with gloves to give some relief.
All that to say, dont give up. It will go away- but persistance is key and it 100% gets worse before it gets better.
