Does this deserve a 5 Grade?
For context, I submitted the Dragonite SIR from Ascended Heroes, fully expecting a grade 9 or 10 due to the great centering and no dings/scratches. I paid for their Priority Express and submitted the card to them last week, they received the card 6/30/2026.
I just received the grade for the card today, 7/2/2026, and the card was graded a 5. I’m speechless, frustrated, confused, all the above. The “dings” identified look to be incorrect as they capture the border and the Pokemon logo on the back of the card. These dings are not visible in the video and photos they provided.
Would love to hear from others if you believe this card deserved a 5. Would also love to hear from anyone who has regraded their card or inquired with TAG about a regrade. Attached are photos of the card.
