I bought a used guitar recently and I'm not joking, it keeps getting out of tune upwards. I frequently have to loosen the strings. I never heard of this happening, what could be the cause? Did anyone experience such?

Practically speaking, it doesn't matter, but it's driving me mad, strings under tension should not behave like that according to all my knowledge of physics.
