Automation?

Hi, I'm just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to automate audiobooks in the same way the arr stack does? I see readarr has been retired and bookshelf is getting going. But I can't seem to get it to work for me. How do you guys handle importing your libraries?

Make the switch to debian?

I need some opinions of homelab users that have used debian. I currently use windows 11 pro. i remote in a lot, and i use the machine locally for music, general use, youtube etc. its a workshop pc. is there any benefit/negatives to switching to a linux based proper server setup? My friend is adamant it is the right move and he knows a lot more on the topic than me. I'm just not sure i want to learn a new os and use consoles etc. I don't have a lot of time for it. I mostly want it for hosting the usual stuff so i feel like debian with a desktop plus docker for the arr stack etc would be a much cleaner setup than windows. less headaches hopefully? I also have about 14 hdds attached of various sizes using drivepool, no raid. i was thinking kde plasma, mergerfs + snapraid, no machine for remote? Anyway, I am just feeling a bit lost and need some advice for my particular use case. Thanks for reading my latest novel!

cases, cases!

gday, i have a mess of a 20ish drive system with a hp pc and some external 3d printed boxes. I am currently tossing up between custom fabbing a case that holds it all, or picking up a monster atx case etc. any thoughts or suggestions? I love the idea of a timber/aluminium custom made system. i have a cnc etc.
