Ive had bad hearing loss my entire life that has progressively gotten worse with time. I’m unable to hear my friends unless they are speaking loudly directly infront of me and i struggle so much to understand everyone else. I always feel like i’m in this in between spot of being hard of hearing and deaf. When i tell people i’m hard of hearing they usually underestimate the severity of it, but deaf also doesn’t feel quite right. I use a hearing implant and a hearing aid but I still can barely participate in conversations. I feel like my hearing loss isn’t even that bad in the charts

I’ve had very severe chronic constipation my entire life.
If i don’t take laxatives it could be months before my next bowl movement. The only thing that has somewhat helped is eating close to nothing even though i know it’s supposed to be the opposite but it really does help my pain so much. The only downside is i have zero energy and am losing a lot of weight a just feel bad. My doctor doesn’t seem to understand. I recently found out i have nutcracker syndrome but he said that can’t cause any GI symptoms. I’m desperate for answers at this point because i’m afraid laxatives will stop working for me
I’ve had anorectal manometry, barium swallow test, gastric emptying tests, x-rays and ct’s that have shown nothing. I’ve tried linzess, motegrity, lubiprostone and mestinon with little to no success. I have hEDS, mild intestinal malrotation, may thurner and ibs-c.
Has anyone had a similar experience and what has worked for you

does anyone else with hearing implants (cochlear or baha) experience significant hair loss around the areas where the internal device lies? it’s so frustrating for me and i’ve had to shave the sides of my head because of the thinness of the hair.

17M I’ve had cholesteatoma since I was five and have had dozens of surgeries since then to remove it and rebuild damage. Recently my doctor suggested a canal-wall-down mastoidectomy which I received last week. What are others experiences with it, especially at a young age. What are some problems that arose or things I should look out for
