For my design I focused on three elements: grip, versatility, and simplicity.

Knurling: the wheat-patterned knurling provides great grip

Twisted chamfer: flatter near the pivots for control on Chaplins and rollovers, more rounded at the base of the handles for comfort and fans

Balance: slight/medium handle bias. The trainer blade holes are positioned to have similar weight distribution as a live blade
