My Cinderella milkweed plant's lowest leaves keep yellowing and falling off. Please help.

Hey!

I own 8 potted milkweed plants. 3 are Asclepias Incarnata Cinderella (Cinderella Swamp Milkweed), 2 are Asclepias Incarnata (Fragrant Swamp Milkweed), and 3 are Asclepias Tuberosa (Butterfly Weed Milkweed).

I live in zone 8 so these should all be natives in my area. For some reason my swamp milkweed, particularly the Cinderella swamp milkweed keeps getting yellow leaves and drops them. I had this problem last year too. I don't know why. Its getting to the point where I only have a couple of leaves at the top.

I keep a lot of potted plants and raised beds so I know leaves yellowing is most likely a watering issue, I just can't figure out the problem. I never see it wilt, so I don't think its drying out excessively. Sometimes I notice it more when I water them but I've read they prefer the soil not dry out. I don't know how to make them happy. So far its the only variety that eggs have been laid on and its the one that is struggling the most. I don't fertilize them.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot please?
