Doing well but lost my job. $1.6m and feel broke and scared-43M

I have $900k in 401k/roth (90% 401k), $500k+ home equity and a mortgage rate so low for another $500k that I won’t bother mentioning it or I’ll be called a liar. i have prob $120k in other more liquid investments. Own my cars and am paying college in advance. I do owe $25k in student loans that I’m stubbornly avoiding paying off. My wife is a teacher and makes $50k but I got laid off after nearly 20 years and havent found a job yet.

How many millions until people stop worrying by about money? I don’t buy expensive clothes, vehicles, or anything else really, but I do spend a lot on kids sports, family vacations, etc. I am deathly afraid that not finding a job or ai replacing workers will leave me screwed, eating into our investments, and failing my family. Until I find a job we are eating rice, beans, liver, heart, and a few other healthy staples along with the occasional treat. Tell me it will be ok!!
