Finally got around to repotting my fig tree from Rutgers

got another one to repot but I managed to fill up a 15 gallon fabric pot with my own soil mix. gotta wrangle up some organic material tomorrow to mix up some more medium. the cultivar is big al. shoutouts my colleagues at the rutgers plant science program

lsu purple and big al (rutgers university developed variety). i'm a student and researcher at the university so I get access to all the cool shit. watcha thinking? 5 gallon pots? 10?

all done myself from seed or propagation asides from tree and bushes. I more or less dislike the boxwoods so would prefer if they were gone. most of the initial plants i transplanted were lambs ear. I've done particularly well in the corner by the tree, but would like to take up more space in the remainder. I'd like to introduce more native plants, and i try to focus on perennials in particular. cheers!
