Hi everyone. Hopefully my self aware post title means you will go easy on me as I know it can be a little annoying when tourists ask about getting tickets for x match, and yes that is exactly what I'm doing.

I'm visiting Copenhagen from the UK on the weekend of Brondby v FC Copenhagen (20th September). I'm into groundhopping, use Futbology etc.. Do I have any chance of purchasing two tickets or will this be strictly limited to supporters with a purchasing history or similar? Just trying to set my expectations to avoid disappointment!

My back up on the same weekend will be Lyngby, which I know will be a different but hopefully great experience. I presume tickets are easier to obtain for their matches?

Having attended plenty of matches in the UK, I'm now taking my first steps into international groundhopping. I've quickly realised I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of options and the logistics involved in getting the most out of a trip. I thought I was good at planning, but this has definitely humbled me!

I'll be travelling from the UK for around a week (I’m planning on doing Thursday to the following Wednesday), with completely flexible dates to choose between mid-October and mid-December. I'm not on a strict budget. The main purpose of the trip is football, but I'm happy spending part of the week doing tourist things.

My first thought was predictably Germany, but I understand tickets for many Bundesliga clubs can be difficult to get. I'm not sure if that's also true in the lower divisions? I've also been looking at the Netherlands and Belgium.

I'd really appreciate any advice on how you'd approach planning such an open ended trip. Which countries would you recommend for a first international groundhopping trip? Which trips have been your favourites? How do you normally build an itinerary around fixtures, and are there any tips or pitfalls I should know about?
