I was recently diagnosed and prescribed Lamotrigine. My doctor mentioned that rashes can be one of the side effects, but unfortunately, mine became quite severe.

I developed rashes all over my body, with many areas becoming extremely itchy. After about a week, the rash also started appearing on my face, which became swollen. Most concerningly, my ears became extremely swollen as well!!

I was eventually sent to the emergency room, where I was given medication through an injection to help stop the reaction.

Has anyone experienced something similar with Lamotrigine? Did your doctor give you a different medication afterward? Would love to hear about your experience😢
