Why is nobody talking about World Cup narratives?

Every cycle crypto finds a new obsession.

AI.

Dogs.

Cats.

Politics.

Celebrities.

But one of the biggest events on the planet is happening and I barely see anyone discussing World Cup-related plays.

Feels weird considering billions of people are following the tournament.

Am I missing something, or is everyone still focused on the same old memecoin meta?

What World Cup-related projects have you guys found so far?

Is it just me or does every second LinkedIn profile picture look AI-generated now?

A few years ago everyone had:

  • A random selfie
  • A blurry conference photo
  • A cropped vacation picture

Now it feels like every second profile has:

  • Perfect lighting
  • Perfect skin
  • Perfect smile
  • Perfect suit
  • Perfect background

And somehow everyone looks like they're running a Fortune 500 company.

I'm not even against AI headshots. Some of them look great.

I just find it funny how quickly LinkedIn went from "professional networking" to "everyone accidentally becoming a stock photo model."

Be honest...

Is your profile picture AI-generated? 👀

Are sports narratives the next big thing after AI and memecoins?

We've had AI.

We've had political coins.

We've had dog coins, cat coins, frog coins and everything in between.

With the World Cup getting closer, I'm surprised we haven't seen more attention around sports-related narratives.

Feels like crypto always reacts to internet trends, and there aren't many events bigger than the World Cup.

Do you think sports coins could become a thing this cycle or am I completely off here?

Does anyone else get tired of LinkedIn posts that say absolutely nothing?

Every day I see posts like:

"Today, while drinking my morning coffee, I realized something profound about leadership..."

Then 15 paragraphs later the lesson is basically:

"Be nice to people."

Or someone writes a whole story about missing a train, dropping a sandwich, talking to a stranger and somehow turns it into a life-changing business lesson.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather read:

  • How you got your first 10 customers
  • How you lost a client and why
  • What marketing channel is actually working
  • What mistake cost you money
  • What you learned building a real business

Less storytelling.

More useful information.

Am I the only one feeling this way?

My portfolio is starting to look like a charity donation

Bought the top.

Averaged down.

Averaged down again.

Watched it go down another 50%.

Anyone else having a great week?
