Pool deck gone wrong *HELP*

So I washed this pool deck today. It was three years old and told the client I could wash it but obviously it’s not gonna do much as it wasn’t very dirty. So I went ahead and proceeded with a basic wash of pretreating the area and then going over with the surface cleaner. As I thought it wasn’t super dirty I just did one side to begin and see if it made a difference. However after it started drying I noticed these dark gray obvious lines that followed the path of my surface cleaner. I immediately stopped and this is what that side ended up with. I have no idea what happened as this was a routine wash and a setup I had used numerous times on driveways and patios. I had no idea how to even it out I tried resurface cleaning a tile and being as even as possible over the area with 50 percent overpasses but it made no difference. How did this happen, is there something I did wrong, is there any way to fix it? I believe it may have something to do with the way the concrete is. I will attach a before/after and a picture of the unwashed other side.
