Using ultrasonic frequencies to achieve higher densities in sensitive materials
Has anybody attempted this?
I am messing around with a little etn and decided to use my large ultrasonic cleaner to force a more defined boundary layer before decanting.
In doing so I realized the main layer of the raw wet material was far more dense than I’d expected.
Testing of material is tbd. But I’m fascinated by the simple thought and safety of potentially increasing densities in this and other sensitive energetics.
Update- it appears that 20kHz is the industry standard. My cleaner runs at 40, so I just saw the tip of the iceberg with this.
