Going to see TEB live for the first time! It’s finally happening! 🎉

I’m quite excited that I will finally be seeing Third Eye Blind live for the first time on Friday at the Outskirts Music Festival in Saskatoon, SK! It has been on my bucket list for a very long time to see them live, but they do not come to Canada all that often and when they do it has been a significant distance from where I live. I considered flying out to go see them a couple years ago, but life got in the way lol. So I’ll admit I definitely freaked out in excitement when it was announced that they would be at this festival last year. Just thought I would pop on to this group to share and maybe I’ll even see some of you there! 🙂🎉

Vyvanse and Skin Issues

Have been on Vyvanse for about 3 months. Currently on 50mg. Having some skin issues on vyvanse (tight and dry skin on face, more noticeable wrinkles, dark circles under eyes, skin is less plump and supple. Some vasoconstriction). I read that stimulants can cause dehydration and reduced oil production. Has anyone else experienced this and have you found anything that works to combat it? I’m currently taking a rehydration drink daily and I am interested in trying out L-Citrulline as it’s said to combat vasoconstriction.

Hello! I’ve been on generic vyvanse for about 2 months. I have worked my way up to 40mg once in the morning. I’m having trouble balancing it with my day and looking for advice. I take it at 7:00am and my day starts at 8:00am. I do not feel it really start to take affect until maybe 9:30am and then it tappers off in the early-mid afternoon. Doctor had me try 40mg at 7:00am and 10mg at 11:30am but unfortunately this gave me insomnia. I’m now trying 50mg at 7:00am to see if this would allow for a longer afternoon taper. Anyone had success with this strategy?

In addition to this with long acting stimulants, I get the rare side effect of vasoconstriction. Namely, my neck starts looking like a dried out turkey neck during the “peak” of the medication (no matter how much water I drink). Vyvanse so far has had the least amount of this side effect for me. However I am still experiencing it occasionally. To try to combat this, I have taken an electrolyte drink (magnesium, sodium, potassium) during peak times and it seems to help some. I have recently purchased a supplement (ashwagandha, L-Theanine, Magnesium) but haven’t tried it yet and I am not sure it would help smooth this peak? I’d love to hear from anyone who has taken it or also suffers from vasoconstriction.

Thank you
