Web Novel - Made In Nepal?

Hello everyone I have a simple question,🫪

Will You Support Me

I am someone who has watched over 230+ anime from underrated to overrated then I wanted to try something new so I shifted to Donghua my first was Soul land was a masterpiece then explored it much as I can then I got into maga my first maga was vagabond one of the best out there after that came Manhwa read the sweet home it was just fantastic. Then Manhua after then came the web novel and light novel like shadow slave if you know.

I don't want to just overconfident but at this point I have seen almost every fiction/fantasy. So I thought why don't I write a WEB NOVEL. I have so much raw idea and concept. My question is should I write it? Will I get supported. I am bad at drawing when someone collaborate with me. I don't want anyone to trust or support blindly but I believe there are not many nepali authors of web novels even if they are supported as none even if they got good writing and story people prefer foreign authors.

If this post gets over 100 reposts I will write and post my first chapter of my web novel 😬

Web Novel- Made in Nepal?

I used to be deep into anime a few years back—like seriously deep. I’ve watched over 230+ series that I can remember. At some point though, it all started to feel… hollow. Like I had already seen everything—mainstream, underrated, all of it.

So I moved on.

First to Donghua. Same story—I explored it fully. Then manga. Then manhwa—and I still remember my first one, Sweet Home. Honestly, it’s still one of the best I’ve ever read. After that, manhua… and now I’ve reached web novels and light novels.

At this point, going back to anime almost feels like revisiting an old place. Not bad—just familiar.

Now I feel like I’ve consumed so many different kinds of fiction and fantasy that my mind is full of raw ideas—worlds, characters, stories just waiting to be written.

Which brings me to something I’ve been thinking about:

I know there are quite a few Nepali readers who are into web novels. But is there actually a platform or community that supports Nepali writers?

I’m planning to write in English, with my own original story—not copying trends, not forcing anything. But the real question is: will Nepali writers actually get support, or do readers mostly stick to foreign authors?

I’m not saying people should support something blindly—even if it’s bad. But right now, it feels like there’s almost no support at all.

Also, being realistic—can this even become profitable? And since I’m not good at drawing, would it be possible to find someone to collaborate with later on? Or is that too difficult when starting out?

So what do you guys think?

Should I start writing and post my first chapter on Reddit? Is there any proper community for Nepali web novel writers—or are we just in the background?
