lower gpa, should I take gre?
Hey yall, I wanna hear some advice about GRE.
I am planning to apply this upcoming cycle, but I haven’t taken GRE. I originally was planning to apply without it, to schools that have it optional because I really don’t wanna go through all that stress again, and honestly? I don’t do good on those type of exams normally. My math will be great, but my verbal part probably not so great. If i grind hard enough I may be able to get a decent score, but that’s where the question is coming.
Should I take it?
My gpa is 3.2 rn and prereq 3.4, i still have a year with a prereq sequence in it. I’m anatomy lab assistant and tutor, shadowed so far in 2 OP clinics and SNF, planning to volunteer with GSPP rehab this summer and if I can, shadow a little bit pediatrics. 4 year D3 athlete, and getting on board of an ongoing research this upcoming year, most probably will finish the project in the fall and hopefully present. Might volunteer with rescue squad in fall too.
So, it’s just a question of whether that stress is really worth it considering what I already have? Some honest advice would be very appreciated 🙏🏼
