Starting calisthenics

I am currently hitting the gym for like 2 months and I really want to do more calisthenics than just lifting weight. Currently I am doing a five days split (push,pull,leg,upper,lower). I once heard that in calisthenics we shouldn’t train legs to much so that they don’t get to heavy. So my split and my exercise are more like traditional Gym than calisthenics exercices. I don’t know if what I am doing is right or not and I am thinking to train my legs just once a week.

I really needs some advices and any specific routine.
