Do y’all have tips for how to layer colors to make them pop more. I’m trying to be patient and layer colors slowly, but I think I’m impatient sometimes.

This started as a light purple wash followed by darker purples and then red for the furthest edge.

Just trying this out, so any advice is good!

Do y’all have any recommendations for a good outlining pen?

This was just the fine tip of a sharpie. Maybe that’s all anyone really needs

I love the style often seen in architectural water colors where a building is roughly drawn in with pen and then filled with water colors.
