More of a vent because it’s the weekend and this issue is lingering in my head.

One of my sites is pushing back on a sponsor training requirement.
From the site’s perspective, I get it. Too many different CRO/sponsor requirements. But I also don’t get it because by agreeing to participate in the study, sites are also agreeing to comply with the sponsor’s study requirements. Sites know what they are signing up for during the feasibility and selection process.

Just a classic case of bait and switch. Nonetheless, still frustrating to deal with on top of all the other fires I’m trying to put out 😭

When booking flights through concur, we could select fares above basic economy (obviously not first class). I guess my company has cracked down on the system and even if you book above basic economy, it’ll downgrade your ticket when it’s ticketed by the airline. Genuinely upset because this was one of the few things that didn’t make travel feel so crappy. Now I have to get used to flying in the back with less legroom again 😔

Every time a study team sends out a mass email to sites, without fail, someone replies to all. Either just acknowledging the email or asking a question/clarification even when the email explicitly says to contact your CRA.

Even worse is when a fellow CRA responds to their site’s question by still replying to all 😭
