Advice needed! Another Sphynx or Rescue???
Okay yall, I added cat tax to pay for all this advice (and a few baby kittens for a tip).
My lil girl Nori (in the yellow blanket) is turning a year old in a couple days. I love her dearly but lemme tell you the past 9 months have been interesting hahaha (though I wouldn’t trade her for the world).
She is SO picky in everything - food, how I play with her, even how I freakin move. I wish I was kidding.
The people I got her from just had new kittens six weeks ago (pictured above), so they wouldn’t be ready for another six weeks at least but they are asking me if I would want one.
Because they know how good I take care of Nori, they are going to give me a huge discount that is basically unheard of in this community if I decide I want a new lil raw chicken.
That being said that is not why I am looking into getting another kitten.
Literally just yesterday as she tried to jump up onto my TV stand for the 1 millionth time, I said out loud, “okay I think it’s time to get you a sibling because I can’t deal with this for the rest of my life.”
She just needs some socialization that I as a human cannot give her.
Now flash forward to today, when the lady texts me asking if I would be interested..
I told my mom I was seriously considering it and she asked why I don’t just go to the shelter and get a normal hair on cat 😅😂 because of how much I had to spend getting her spayed/vet etc.
This is something I was considering as well, because the price would be massively cheaper also because I would be helping a kitten have a better life.
But of course the little babies she sent me are almost cuter than my little baby. I mean look at those blue eyes, how can I say no to that???
TL;DR:
I would love advice from people who have 2+ Sphynx and advice from people who have one Sphynx and one hair on kitty.
Do you feel like it makes any difference having the same breed? Do you feel like they prefer another nakey or they don’t really care/notice??
I love not having to deal with cat fur, of course the rotisserie chickens come with their own downsides (ear cleanings/baths) but I need help!!
All I know is another cat is in the forecast because I cannot continue with her rascal antics forever.
Do I get another Sphynx or a rescue?
