Finished M3 White Scout Car

Finished M3 White Scout Car

Finally got the paint where I wanted and gave it a matte clear coat on top. Very happy with how the wash turned out, the paint job definitely “pops” now.

Sitting on top is an unpainted British Airborne NCO. I gotta buy some bases and get a few more paints for that.

British Airborne List Feedback

Below is a list I’ve been tinkering with for a few weeks. I’ve played it a bunch with my friends on Tabletop Simulator, though I haven’t technically won with it.

I like the theme and the playstyle, but I’m wondering if I’m making some horrible error somewhere that’s really hampering me.

Salvaged (maybe?) M3 Scout Car

Thanks to the advice of everyone yesterday I think I got this thing in a place where I like it. It’s a little dirty, a little crude, but at a shade of brown/green/drab I like.

I’m not 100% done but I figured I’d share the progress.

Color Correction

I’ve made a… choice with paint color. I don’t hate it, but I’d like to get away from the Army Man Green it appears as now.

Keep it? Give it a brown wash and pray? Redo the whole thing? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Best way to start with the British Airborne?

I’ve done a bunch of digging, and as far as I can tell Warlord’s WWII Allied Paratroopers box is the best quality (and the best “deal.”)

I’ve also stumbled onto Microperspective’s British Airborne Big Pack. (I have access to very cheap/free 3D printing.)

Is it better to get one over the other? Maybe further down the line get both? Would I be missing out on anything getting one or the other? (Microperspective’s set is mostly special units for example, I’d still need a bunch of regular riflemen.)

Highest Possible Number of Dice to Hit? [3rd Edition]

I’ve somehow convinced my friend group to all learn/play Bolt Action on Tabletop Simulator with me.

We’re making do with whatever premade stuff we find, but for the future I’d love to streamline some of the tedious bits. Namely, rolling lots of dice at once.

So my question is: What is the highest possible number of dice you could roll to hit? I’ve done a little experimenting on Easy Army, and discovered that a Waffen SS squad with 2 MGs and every possible man using an Assault Rifle could theoretically roll 30 dice to hit. But does it get sillier?
