I have the opportunity to become a marine corps officers and go to cos in may which is 10 weeks and then I’d go to tbs which is 6 months of training to decide your mos and then you go to your mos school which I would look to go pmo which is military police. But I only plan on serving one term if I do go and then either going law enforcement or trying to go federal. Or should I instead just become a Florida state trooper which the academy would start in September and I’d graduate before I’d graduate from marine tbs and become a state trooper for a few years and then transfer to a higher paying department in Florida. Can someone help me make a decision if anyone has experience in either.
