I’m getting job offers without any relocation assistance or sign-on bonuses being offered. This is true for job listings in VHCOL where relocation can easily cost $10,000. I’m a recent grad, so I am also being told that the VA can’t be pay more me than the minimum salary for the listed position due to lack of experience. I have low student debt compared to most recent graduates, so EDRP is not a big draw for me. Salary and having relocation costs reimbursed are my major concern. How typical is it for VA jobs not to offer any additional hiring incentives?
