South facing garden with an all round 8-9ft privet hedge. The south facing hedge is very leggy and opaque compared to other areas. It's quite close to neighbours rear of property so only getting decent sunshine (the odd occasion we get it) early morning. Is there anything we can do this time of year to promote lower growth and fill it out a bit?
Hedge straddles both properties and the neighbours do not want a harsh height cutback.
