help! why is my snake all of a sudden being a recluse?
i’ve had her since she was a couple months old. that being said she turned 4 on may 5th. in july, we moved for the first and i upgraded her tank. she’s in a 40 gallon with most of her same decor and hides as before, now she has an ever bigger hide and more things to explore. the first time i tried to get her out since we moved, she bit me multiple times before i could put her back. she’s never bitten me. during the day she’ll roam around her tank and sleep.
the past 2 weeks, she has non stop hid under her substrate. all the temp and humidity levels are fine. she doesn’t appear to be in shed. she doesn’t move much when i touch her, she’ll twitch but then just stay there. what is going on with my snake? she’s always been an active and nice snake.
