IS FIXING THE CAR WORTH IT?
I got hit recently and insurance already sent me about $1k, but a friend told me I should take the car to a shop because he thinks the frame might actually be bent/broken. I honestly don’t know much about how this works.
If the frame is damaged, does insurance usually total the car out? And if they do, what happens if they already paid me the first estimate directly? Do they take the car, pay the difference, or can I keep it?
Trying to figure out if it’s even worth getting inspected further or if I should just keep the money and move on.
