This community has serious issues.
I’m going against the grain here.
Mocking the “fawn” response? A response that REAL sexual assault victims have been through? Pretending that Ren’s refusal to go to law enforcement is evidence even though law enforcement is STATISTICALLY favoring the perpetrator? Villainizing BPD?
For people who claim to be so neutral and morally correct, I’ve never been so disgusted by a community.
“I’m neutral” but you’ll mock a genuine trauma response.
“I’m not villainizing BPD” but you made an entire post about the way people with BPD “behave” calling it “symptoms”.
“I just want evidence” for a crime that’s one of the hardest crimes to prove.
You guys bitch and moan about the people on X who harassed Zeal to the point of suicide while you mock RAPE. And no, you’re not mocking a POTENTIAL liar. You’re pulling out SHITTY “PERFECT VICTIM” arguments to ASSIGN BLAME. You are MOCKING RAPE.
I know it sucks to have your favorite game dev involved in this. It sucks that Zeal potentially tried to kill himself. It sucks that Ren is behaving like a nutjob.
But you guys are making genuine victims feel like SHIT. You guys are mocking victims. You guys are making it harder to come forward. If you wanna make good valid arguments, make good valid arguments, but mocking “fawning” like it isn’t an SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN response to a threat? God I hope none of you have loved ones that were raped.
