Does anyone do extra qualifications during their degree apprenticeship and how are they finding it?

In September I’ll be starting a risk analyst degree apprenticeship with a specialist lending bank for 3 years. During that time I will be working towards a data science degree. For my goals after the apprenticeship and good broadened opportunities in other roles such as market risk, or fintech, A.I has recommended that I take other certifications during the apprenticeship, being the FRM (part 1 and 2) and CFA level 1 (level 2 and 3 to be done after completion of the degree). This is of course on top of other factors as well such as networking events, reaching out on linkedin etc. Is there anyone that’s actually taken on extra qualifications during the degree apprenticeship? How do any of you find it to be and do you find employers are considerate of them and even offer to support them?

Data science bachelors, what can I do with this in finance

Im doing a degree apprenticeship next year at a specialist lending bank in the city of London as a risk analyst, where I will be modelling with things like python, SQL etc to lend people money. Within these 3 years, I will be completing a bachelors degree in data science from BPP university the training provider. The role itself is quite interesting stuff, but I was wondering what else there is I could do during or after my apprenticeship like a masters in finance related field or the CFA to help me pivot my career within the industry e.g a quantitative research role
