Accepted offer, considering withdrawing for other offer for another role. Would a potential background check from a shared firm blow up my spot?
Without giving too mucb detail about the hiring firms to blow up my spot, im in a tough position. Im a financial advisor looking to switch roles.
Ive got an offer from company A I accepted less than a week ago. They started running background checks etc. The broker dealer this company clears though is LPL Financial and they started running there own background checks as well, in addition to having their own recruiters.
Company B calls me today and offers me a job id mucb rather take. They also use LPL Financial as there broker dealer and would need to got through them for a background check.
I run the risk of LPL communicating with company B....but have no idea if they would that I rescinded the offer.
Anyone have any insight if my spot gets blown up if I rescinded the acceptance?
