I’ve been told and found in some research that lilies of the valley are an invasive species where I live, but I genuinely love them. Is it wrong to plant them? Would it be harmful to plant them in containers instead of in the ground? I’ve never encountered them irl until this weekend, and it sadly made me want them even more. Help me decide so I don’t ruin my ecosystem!

I also think it’s worth mentioning I have dogs and lots of wildlife that get into my backyard. Convince me to not get them please!
