Lateral Transfer Firefighter/Finding a job if I move.
Good afternoon from FL! I am a firefighter paramedic here in FL at a big department. My girlfriend’s family is all in Rhode Island and I’ve taken a huge liking up there. I love it and we are thinking of moving. Is this something that is common? Or will I have to complete the fire academy over again? I am a national certified Medic. And I got my fire cert in FL and been working as one going on 3 years. Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated!
