I need recommendations for Juvenile mental health Inpatient hospitals.
Hi guys, I live almost 2 hours away but in the town I live in mental health care is definitely lacking. My kid's pyschiatrist is amazing but she needs more. Daily she's trying to kill herself and sometimes more than once a day. I literally have to have her glued to me at all times when she's home. At school she's already ran off so many times that she's not allowed to even go to the restroom by herself. She's gotten into physical fights with kids 3 times bigger than her just so they can "kill her". Shes on meds but nothing really helps. Shes had already 4 hospital stays in other mental health hospitals in our town but it doesn't help because the only thing they ever do is take her off meds...which honestly makes things 100 times worse. My daughter is only 11 but ahes suffered from depression for several years. We have tried everything but im hoping a hospital outside of our small town will have better doctors and staff that can actually help her. Any advice or recommendations will be very much appreciated.
