Hi,

So what happened is my manager(he is in Hong Kong) sent me a long mail with negative feedback few weeks back (it almost covered all the negative points either for on my first couple of tasks or something that of that kind).
I have only 8 days left for my probation period and while I was I in a 1:1 with him, he told me that it’s not looking very good and gave me a subtle hint that downside is very probable now since it’s just 8-10 days remaining.

I asked couple of VPs on the floor(who I know)they told me that they are trying to cut the headcount and I must start looking out for options. Also, 2 people of my team(both analysts) are already put on PIP

Anybody here who got hit by something related to this? Will they fire me in probation itself or are they going to put me into PIP later?
