Need honest guidance: Best Canada PR strategy for my profile (H1B + US MS + Tech)
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for honest guidance on my Canada PR chances and the fastest realistic pathway based on my profile.
My background:
- Indian citizen
- Age: 28
- Currently in the USA on H1B
- Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering (India)
- Master’s in Computer Science from Pace University (USA)
- ~2 years of work experience as a Software Developer/Python Developer in the USA
- English test: CELPIP (currently not maxed out)
Overall : 9
L: 11
R: 7
W: 8
S: 10
- WES ECA for my US Master’s is in progress
My goal:
I want to get Canadian PR as realistically and quickly as possible. I’m open to Express Entry, Ontario HCP/PNP, tech pathways, or any strategy that makes sense for my profile.
Questions:
- Based on my profile, what CRS range should I realistically target?
- Is Ontario Human Capital Priorities (HCP) realistic for someone like me?
- Should I enter the Express Entry pool immediately with my current score and update CELPIP later?
- Is French worth learning for me, or is improving English enough?
- Realistically, how long could PR take with my background?
