After a few months of research I'm close to pulling the trigger on a system from a local MCS-accredited installer. Posting here before I sign anything as I'd value some outside eyes on the numbers.

The numbers from the proposal Estimated annual generation: 4,544kWh (east/west split roof, 30° tilt) Estimated year 1 saving: £1,078 Self-sufficiency with battery: 59% Simple payback: 9 years 4 months (modelled at 26p/kWh flat rate, 7% annual price rise, 15p SEG) Lifetime net savings over 25 years: ~£47,863

Context Property is in an area with decent solar resource for the UK, postcode region 4. All electric house — storage heaters on E7, immersion heater, no gas. Annual consumption at 6,330kWh.

Storage heater circuit will be excluded from the EPS backup supply so in a power cut only essential circuits are backed up — expecting 10-15 hours runtime on the battery with that load.

Planning to use the FoxCloud/HA integration for the energy dashboard rather than active control.

I design bold geometric and mandala-based artwork including psychedelic florals, tessellation patterns, radial mandalas all printed on quality mugs, framed prints, tote bags and acrylic prints.

All designs are my own, fulfilled through Gelato.

Every piece is a bit different with lots of symmetry, saturated colour, and natural world references throughout.
