Advice on getting bulk cards graded with PSA
hi folks. i have a ton of base set pokemon cards as a kid that i want to get graded. I was just wondering the best way to do it if we are talking 25+ cards?
from some research i understand my options are:
- send it myself
- go through a dealer
- apparently for APAC you can drop off cards directly to their HK Shanghai or Tokyo office. Which is possible if i swing by on my next holiday
im just wondering what value the dealers add as it seems like they charge a ridiculous fee worth more than some cards vs just sending it myself?
also are there bulk discounts?
Also just for clarity of wording. by bulk i mean qty/volume. But i just so happen to also learn today that common bulk cards like pikachu https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pokemon-base-set/pikachu-58 are worth stupid valuations if graded. which make no sense to me. i have so many of these that i thought were worthless in mint condition
(also in case someone brings it up, yes im aware its very hard to get psa 10s on very old cards, i have some in insanely good condition that never got played with and some i just want slabbed for collecting purposes with no care around the grading)
