Cercis Canadensis ‘JN2’
• Hardiness Zones 5-9
• Full Sun to Part Shade
• Mature Height 8-12ft

This is one of my dream trees, but I’ve never seen this cultivar in Washington. Really hesitant to get one because it would absolutely break my heart if it didn’t go well. Advice or opinions?

Also, if you’ve seen any at your nurseries, let me know!

*New to gardening* Planted a few ceanothus two weeks ago in my full sun beds with lavender and now all my ceanothus look like this 😔 There was one I didn’t plant yet (photo 3) because there wasn’t room and she’s doing better but starting to see a bit of yellowing too. I watered deeply after planting and didn’t water again until the top 3-4 inches were dry. Is this a soil/draining issue?

Edit: the leaves are not dry/crispy
