Built a HOTAS macro app because AHK and a stack of other tools were driving me up the wall

Long-time sim pilot, IT guy. I spent years gluing AutoHotKey to JoyToKey and vJoy with shell scripts, and running a stack of tools at the same time just to get my HOTAS macros to behave. Eventually I gave up and wrote my own app. It's called Macropod.

What it does:

- Records macros from any HID device: keyboard, mouse, joystick, HOTAS

- Replays through a virtual joystick (vJoy, free, separate install) so the game sees the output as a real stick

- Cloaks your physical sticks per-game with HidHide (free, separate install) when you want the macro to fully own input

- Auto-switches profiles based on which game is in the foreground, no manual swap

- HID Shift Translator for VKB-style modifier states (you all know the pain)

Portable, no installer. Windows 10/11. $50 CAD one-time, two-device license.

EDIT: Not pitching you on that but (Asking what you wish a tool like this did that other tools do not) I'll see if Macropod handles it, and if not I'll add it. I added a selector that let you install vjoy old or new branch.

Edit: a few of you asked about a trial. no trial yet, but theres a 14 day full refund, any reason, no hoops. so you can run it on your real setup across your games for two weeks and get every cent back if it doesnt fit. basically the trial, just trust-first.
