If you live in a freehold house and pay an estate fee...

  1. How much was it (per month / year) when you bought the house?

  2. How much is it now?

  3. How long have you had the house?

I'm asking because I'm looking to buy (in England, to live in) at the moment and there are some nice newish houses which have a fee attached. I'm trying to get a feel for what sort of increases people have experienced.

I had two gift cards for the same shop. One of which I forgot to keep active and the other one I just totally forgot I had been given so it went beyond the 24 months.

I came across both of them and e-mailed the shop to ask if they would restore the balances. And they did!

I'm not usually that lax and won't be making that mistake again! Will be spending the money next week 😂
