how do I go about re-starting my journey with football?

I (22F) (mentioning this because this will help get a good idea of my nutritional needs) used to play football as a 15-16 year old and after 5 years of dealing injury, I want to get back to it.

I am confused because my muscles hurt a lot even from running. I want to start rewatching the matches too.

What are some things I can incorporate in my life to make myself strong again? And how do I makeup not watching football for so long?
