Need serious guidance on my data science career. 29F

I am a masters in mathematics. I currently work in an MNC where I take business problems and try to solve them/create new features etc.

I don't do production development, my main focus is the agenda and our algo/poc. I really love doing it.

Now the issue is I don't know what to call my role?

Am I data scientist/developer? I feel I don't do any actual implementation. I just create the class/algo.

Am I a product person? I don't do any product lifecycle thing or practices.

My official title has "analyst" in it. But that word means nothing if i start looking for roles.

I have had excellent performance in all my past companies but due to a work culture issue in my previous firm i accepted a lower paying offer in my firm.

I currently make around 23lpa, which is on the lower end of the industry. What skills should I develop to get better offers? I don't want to go in the traditional software development roles. I like making strategies.

Totally confused on where to apply. Would really appreciate your insights and guidance 🙏
