"I admit"... Dan needed a better editor

Loved H and FoH...

In Endymion he writes "I admit..." twenty nine times. And, another seventeen times in Rise of Endymion...

I admit... I admit.... I admit.... Where the hell was the editor!? I admit... as if the narrator was not going to tell the truth.

I admit... I would recommend Hyperion, and if someone liked it FoH. But, I don't think I would recommend Endymion and Fall of unless someone really chose to do it on their own.

The meandering (rafting pun aside), and the extreme waffling of describing completely unimportant things in painful detail that borders on Unimportant Lore Porn....

I admit... It was the *"I admit"*s that got me over and over.

[USA-ID] [H] PP, Check, Cash [W] 128GB DDR4 3600

Just need to get to 128GB for an in-place upgrade.

Would consider 3200Mhz.

Must be 4x 32GB (did anyone even make non-ECC DDR4 64GB sticks?!).

Krea2 lora creation that doesn't bleed so badly?

I tried making a vehicle lora. After 10 epochs it was pretty good, from 50 to 100 epochs I can't tell the difference.

However.. Every other vehicle in the scene became this vehicle, or borrowed aspects from it. The lora bled over into every other thing it could apply to.

  • I did some checking with other loras. I found person loras that did the same thing, where the if there was a man and woman in a photo that the man started taking on the woman's lora face. Creepy.

  • I found some loras that specifically did NOT do this. Not to give him direct linkage, but the guy that does the civit RLYthot girls, I saw images where one girl was called out in a lora by trigger tag, but the other people in the background were still unique and different, not same same at all.

  • I don't need two specific characters from two or even the same lora. I need the opposite. I want to stop putting traits from the lora on things they don't belong on. For example, if I have Pirelli tires one a vehicle as part of it's training I don't want other vehicles to have them if they're supposed to have mud tires.

What gives? I tried with epoch 10 and 100, so it's not an overtraining thing. It's like... Maybe the captioning is not defining THIS VEHICLE or THIS CONCEPT or THIS PERSON well enough and it's just picking up traits?

Not specifically a Krea2 issue of course!

Follet's Pillars of the Earth and World Without End... are sort of the same book.

I AM ANNOYED that no one on earth seems to see that Pillars and World are ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME BOOK.

Jack == Merthin

Aliana == Caris

William == Ralph

  • <A> can't be with <B> because <C> is a dick...

  • <A> joins the church because of <C>'s actions and now can not marry <B>.

  • <A> can not be with <B> so goes to Europe to be a better builder and comes back, while <C> went to Europe to be bad there too. <B>'s euro-roadtrip is objective-based.

  • <A> and <B> are unnaturally talented and invent many things, while <C> is just evil for effectively no reason at all.

  • <A> can't work because the the older senior builder takes their work despite being known to be inferior.

  • <B> is a woman and is effectively never wrong in the entire book, smart and unstoppable.

  • <A> <B> and <C> are at the mercy of a political system they have nothing to do with but the system becomes directly involved in their actions, totally normal!

  • <A> and <B> become rich and do not care at all, they get on as if they were poor all the same. While <C> comes into money up and down with evil and it's never enough.

  • I've left off and/or forgot all the other reasons. There are a LOT.

The EVIL ARCH BISHOP is moved down one character to EVIL PRIOR. Instead of an EVIL EARL it's an EVIL ALDERMAN but they preform the exact same function. The antagonist FAILS UPWARD multiple times. The protagonists can never be together because of the interested scheming and busy boding of antagonists. World introduces alter egos of Merthin Caris with Wolfrick and Gwenda for chances to explore different paths but in a strange way, while Gwenda is literally starving, her best friend is fucking rich of her newest invention.

SAME SAME... BARELY DIFFERENT.

The whole time I'm reading World, I'm thinking... This has to be intentional. That the characters are going to get another look at Timmy's Book (too simple of a device to bring in the first book) and then they will self-realize that humanity is a loop, or a spiral. That they're doomed to be victim to evil people unless they <some change in the pattern>. But... NOPE. Just SAME BOOK, a little different.

I liked both. But, that doesn't stop me from examining them objectively.

FUCKING ALSO... What the hell is with Follet in World at about 75% of the book in reminding me of things IN THE SAME BOOK? Oh wow, really, Ralph killed that dog in the beginning? YEAH MAN, I'M STILL READING THAT SAME BOOK RIGHT NOW. Oh did Carris grow up rich because her dad was the Alderman? YES I JUST READ THAT A COUPLE DAYS AGO. Wait, is matins at night? Is it when the monks and nuns get up to pray? IS IT AT NIGHT? IS IT, KEN? Oh my god, Ken, I am aware that Gwenda's dad tried to sell her that one time! BIG PART OF THE SAME BOOK. It's like second screen viewing plot helpers for a book written before second screen viewing.

.... Good books.

Krea2 new "refusual reduction lora" is an excellent prompt adherence tool

Reddit sucks and all, but the hottest Krea2 release so far was removed off the reddit thread yesterday before most people saw it.

https://civitai.com/models/2775340/krea2-textfusion-refusal-reduction-lora

I've seen examples so far that add emotion and keep character knowledge far better than the "bypass" loras seem to.

I haven't had a chance to try it, but was surprised to see that reddit removed the thread yesterday.

EDIT: Not related to the author, but it seems he has provided other tools in the past.
