Teacher to Project management
Hi, I'm just looking for a bit of advice on how to pivot from education to PM roles. I have been in senior leadership for some time and I've aligned my CV with the transferable skills and terminology.
I haven't really started applying for much yet, and would like to back myself up with some certification in the field. I'm in the UK and had a look at courses with Learning People - this was Agile focused and included PMP. Altogether, the course was going to be over £3.6k and it seems a bit commitment. I have found online that there are e-learning courses that are self paced but I don't know which to go for. Would a PRINCE2 Agile foundation course at £1200 be about right? (I found a provider that offers this). I feel I need to dip my toe into both Prince2 and Agile because I don't know what line of work I might end up in.
Any help is appreciated and if anyone has come from a similar background, I'd be keen to know your experience!
