Hi

My husband and I are South Africans visiting Egypt in September.

We plan to spend time in Cairo, Luxor and Hurghada.

Flights are quite out of our budget and I wanted to get more insight about travelling by bus between these cities. I understand that this will be less comfortable and more time consuming than flying but its something we are willing to do considering our budget.

I would love input from tourists who have used these services before.

Comfort levels? Delays? Safety? Cleanliness? Do tourists use these bus services often? Which company is recommend and how far in advance can we book tickets?

Any and all tips / suggestions are welcome.

Hi there

I have a bunch of old cell phones (blackberrys, iPhone and an ipod touch) and would like to take them where they can be recycled or used for parts or something. I don't think all of the devices are still functional so I don't think taking them to Sungardens would be an option. I know there is an e-waste bin at Makro, but am not sure if it's the best option?
