Decided to try some aftermarket wheels with bearings, I'm pretty impressed.
While looking around for some real riders lots I came across people talking about fansguy wheels and while looking at those I saw they offered wheels with bearings and being curious with those I decided to try some out. I used my Pandem R32 as I had already repurposed it's wheels for my Matchbox ZR1, so I choose some with bronze and a silver lip as I didn't wanna go as flashy as gold.
The hardest part was definitely aligning the brakes while mounting the axle to the chassis, and unfortunately it doesn't roll straight as I misaligned one of the rear axles (decided to go with the small single axles it came with so each wheel was done independently, next time I'll use the long axles) but other than that I've got no complaints. After I finished I swapped the included tires with some with lettering I took off one of my generic real riders sets and am pretty pleased with the outcome. I threw some silver paint on the intercooler and roll cage, gonna paint the seats red when I get a chance, but other than that it's done.
If anyones not familiar with the brand it's FANSGUY and I got them off AliExpress.
